Compassionate, integrated care that helps you feel calm and in control

Anxiety can show up as panic, constant worry, restlessness, or a mind that will not slow down. It can also fuel substance use, sleep problems, and strained relationships. You deserve care that treats the whole person with respect and a clear plan. Recovery In Motion provides coordinated therapy, psychiatric care, skills training, and relapse prevention so progress is steady and measurable in Tucson and Phoenix.

Why people choose Recovery In Motion

Integrated dual diagnosis expertise

Anxiety often overlaps with depression, trauma, ADHD, or substance use. We align Psychiatric Evaluation and Medication Management with therapy and life skills so you are treated as a whole person. Explore our approach to Dual Diagnosis Care.

Evidence-based therapies

Your plan may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Individual Therapy, Group Therapy, and Family Therapy.

Skills that work in daily life

With Life Skills Coaching, you will practice routines for sleep, nutrition, movement, boundaries, and communication. We turn complex concepts into simple steps you can repeat.

Structure with compassion

You will always know the plan, the purpose, and the next step. Schedules are consistent and reviewed often so momentum stays strong.

How we treat anxiety

Medication when appropriate

Your prescriber discusses options, benefits, and risks in clear language and monitors response closely. We emphasize safe, coordinated care and review any current prescriptions for interactions.

Sleep, nervous system, and routine repair

We rebuild structure through sleep hygiene, breathing techniques, grounding, paced activity, and stepwise exposure to daily responsibilities.

Relapse prevention

You will create a written plan with early warning signs, coping tools, and support contacts. This plan travels with you into Aftercare and Alumni Support.

When anxiety and substance use overlap

Many people use alcohol or drugs to take the edge off anxiety. This relief is temporary and can worsen symptoms over time. If substance use is present, we integrate targeted services such as Alcohol Use Disorder, Opioid Use Disorder, or Stimulant Use Disorder. Medication options within Medication-Assisted Treatment may be included when clinically appropriate.
