How we treat bipolar disorder
Comprehensive assessment
We review history, mood patterns, medications, substance use, and goals. You receive a written plan that explains next steps and how progress will be measured.
Coordinated medication management
Your prescriber discusses options, benefits, and risks in clear language. We monitor response, side effects, and labs when indicated. Medication changes are coordinated with therapy so daily routines improve.
Therapy that strengthens stability
Sleep and routine repair
Regular sleep and structured days reduce relapse risk. With Life Skills Coaching, you will practice sleep hygiene, nutrition, activity pacing, stress management, and planning.
Relapse prevention
You will create a written plan with personal triggers, early signs of shift, coping tools, and support contacts. This plan carries forward into Aftercare and Alumni Support.
When bipolar disorder and substance use overlap
Alcohol, stimulants, or opioids can destabilize mood and sleep. If substance use is present, we integrate targeted services such as Alcohol Use Disorder, Opioid Use Disorder, or Stimulant Use Disorder. Options within Medication-Assisted Treatment may be included when clinically appropriate.
