Beginning care should feel organized and kind. At Recovery In Motion, you will know what is happening, why it matters, and how progress is measured. Our team coordinates therapy, psychiatry, skills training, and when appropriate, medication support so you can start strong in Tucson or Phoenix, or through eligible telehealth.

We complete Verify Insurance and provide a written summary of coverage and expected costs.
Clinical screening
A licensed clinician reviews history, current symptoms, and medications to recommend the safest level of care.

Welcome and orientation
You meet your primary therapist and review your schedule, location details, and privacy practices.

Clinical assessment
We complete standardized measures and a collaborative interview. You will leave with a written plan that explains services and goals.

Safety and comfort plan

First skills
You practice two or three tools you can use immediately, such as grounding, breathing, or a sleep reset routine.

What you will do in week one
Therapy and skills
Attend Individual Therapy and Group Therapy with evidence based care such as CBT and DBT.
Psychiatry when appropriate
Meet with a prescriber for evaluation and medication planning. All changes are explained in clear language and aligned with therapy.
Relapse prevention start
Begin a written Relapse Prevention Plan with triggers, coping tools, and crisis steps.
Schedule preview
Review attendance expectations, evening options when clinically appropriate, and how telehealth visits work if part of your plan.
