Respectful, skills based care that builds stability and healthy connection

Personality disorders can affect emotions, relationships, work, and self image. You deserve care that treats the whole person with respect and a clear plan. Recovery In Motion provides coordinated therapy, DBT informed skills training, psychiatric care, and relapse prevention so progress is steady and measurable in Tucson and Phoenix.

Why people choose Recovery In Motion

Integrated dual diagnosis expertise

Personality disorders often overlap with depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, sleep issues, or substance use. We align Psychiatric Evaluation and Medication Management with therapy and life skills so you are treated as a whole person. See our approach to Dual Diagnosis Care.

DBT informed, evidence based care

Your plan emphasizes emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. Care may include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Individual Therapy, Group Therapy, and Family Therapy.

Structure with compassion

You will always know the plan, the purpose, and the next step. Schedules are consistent and reviewed often to keep momentum strong while honoring your pace.

Community centered support

When appropriate, we connect clients with housing, education, and employment resources in Tucson and Phoenix. Stability outside sessions strengthens progress inside them.

How we help

Psychiatric support

Your prescriber reviews medication options for mood, anxiety, sleep, and attention when appropriate. Medication changes are coordinated with therapy to support daily routines.

Relapse prevention and safety planning

We build a written plan with early warning signs, coping steps for 10, 30, and 60 minutes, crisis contacts, and clear boundaries for relationships and technology.

Life skills and routine repair

With Life Skills Coaching, you will practice sleep hygiene, planning, time blocks, communication scripts, and values based habits that hold up at work, school, and home.

When personality disorders and substance use overlap

Short term relief from substances can increase emotional instability over time. If substance use is present, we integrate targeted services such as Alcohol Use Disorder, Opioid Use Disorder, or Stimulant Use Disorder. Options within Medication-Assisted Treatment may be included when clinically appropriate.
